ABOUT NEHA CHANDRA

As a research professional with a strong background in biotechnology, algae, and biomass-based biofuels, I have completed a Doctor of Philosophy degree focused on Energy, Environment, and Renewable Energy from the renowned Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. My research interests lie in the field of algal cultivation strategy and the production of biofuels and industrially valuable co-products. Algae are a diverse group of aquatic organisms that have the potential to produce a wide range of valuable products, including biofuels. Algal biofuels have gained significant attention in recent years as a sustainable alternative to traditional fossil fuels, and your work in this area has the potential to make a significant contribution to the development of sustainable and environmentally friendly energy sources. In addition to biofuels, algae also have the potential to produce a range of other valuable co-products, including high-value chemicals, nutraceuticals, and animal feed. My research in the production of these co-products can help to increase the economic viability of algal biofuels and create a more sustainable and circular economy.
