I’m an Embedded Engineer currently working in the R&D division at Genus Power, actively contributing to the Grid Inverter Display Module development. My work involves end-to-end firmware design, bringing together hardware interfacing, protocol handling, and display logic for renewable energy applications.Current Responsibilities & Work at Genus:* Developing firmware for the Renesas RL78/I1C microcontroller.* Working with a 24x8 segment LCD (SEG1–SEG24 × COM1–COM8) using the LCD controller peripheral.* Implementing Modbus RTU (RS485-based) communication protocol.* Handling internal RTC and EEPROM-based event/time logging.* Writing flexible character-to-segment mapping and dynamic display handling.* Using IAR Embedded Workbench and CS+ for code generation and debugging.* Ensuring timing accuracy and system stability with 8-bit timers, interrupts, and low-power modes.Earlier at E4Engineer, I gained valuable experience with:* 8-bit & 32-bit microcontroller development* Character and graphic LCDs, including 16x2, 20x4, and Nextion HMI displays* Wireless communications: GPRS, Wi-Fi, RF.* Fuel monitoring systems (Omnicomm LLS and SBEM ATG sensors)* Storage tank and bowser level sensing & control.I believe in keeping things simple, writing clean and efficient code, and maintaining a calm, structured approach to debugging and problem-solving.
