ABOUT NEETA RAMUDARAM

I am a Partner in EY Financial Services specialising in the Insurance sector and COO of UK Financial Services (Assurance). I have over 20 years’ experience in public practice with extensive audit and assurance experience serving the financial services industry particularly the UK market. I coordinate and lead multi-discipline teams with overall responsibility for ensuring quality service and the right industry insights. I have held various leadership roles, including my current COO position and, previously, as the lead on Diversity and Inclusion (EMEIA) and as Talent partner.My experience extends across UK listed groups, leading global insurance brokers and life and pension companies. I have supported these companies on a range of assignments including controls and process reviews and in areas of accounting change. In addition I advise clients on re-domestication and group reorganisations activities. I am an industry expert with extensive knowledge of IFRS, MCEV, UK GAAP, US GAAP and UK regulatory and listing requirements. I recently spent 18 months within the EY Global Insurance Centre which connects the EY teams around the globe and shares information on current and emerging trends to help our clients address issues in advisory, assurance, tax and transactions. Outside of work I am passionate about travel, dance and pilates.
