About Neeruja Gupta
I am an urban practitioner, program manager, and mobility specialist working at the intersection of gender equity, urban systems, transport, youth, and data-driven policy. Over the past eight years, I have led multi-city initiatives across India that translate research, community insight, and policy into real, on-ground change, especially for women and young people.My work is rooted in the belief that cities shape opportunity, and inclusive urban systems must be intentionally designed. Currently, as a Program Manager at Safetipin, I lead large donor-funded programs on women’s safety, gender-responsive mobility, youth participation, and inclusive urban planning, spanning strategy, budgets, field implementation, partnerships, reporting, and team leadership with government and civil society.
