I am a seasoned technical leader and a software architect with diverse industry experience of more than twelve years. I am passionate about software architecture and designing highly scalable, performant, and resilient distributed systems. I have worked in cross-functional roles, led teams to build and develop high-quality software, mentored early-career team members, improved processes, team culture, and built high-performing teams. I have a strong track record of being reliable and consistent and have successfully shipped projects built from scratch reaching millions of users. I have worked in diverse roles like Technical Support Engineer, Solution Integrator, Software Engineer, Technical Lead, and Engineering Manager. In my current role, I work as a Principal Software Engineer/Senior Engineering Manager, I manage three projects, design system architecture, and write code. I regularly work with multiple different teams, taking product requirements, soliciting feedback from client teams, and devising a strategy and roadmap for the team.In the past, I worked as a technical lead for a project in which I designed and developed a notifications platform that scaled to multiple customer-facing client applications and delivered millions of notifications on a daily basis. I also built a side-project to help people with special needs control their television, which was listed in Time’s 100 best inventions for 2019 in the accessibility category. Before that, I built a conversational UI chatbot for Xfinity xFi internet management, which was demoed at CES 2019. Previously, I worked in the IoT space, building third-party integrations and energy management systems for Xfinity Home, leading a team of seven engineers. I consistently keep myself updated with the current trends in technology and the industry. I like to learn about distributed systems, cloud architectures, large-scale architectures, and microservices design. I have a drive to build high-quality software, continuously improve it and reach operational excellence.
