I represent developers, lenders and investors in energy project development, M&A and financings and have been working on some of the most novel deals in the renewable energy sector. I recently helped a utility client develop their form of procurement agreement for the most cutting-edge clean energy projects, which combine solar panels with giant batteries to provide a “dispatchable” solar resource.My experience working in both conventional (gas and coal) and renewable (energy storage, solar, wind, biomass and geothermal) energy sectors includes:• Single-asset and multi-asset nonrecourse project financings• Acquisition and disposition of projects• Off-take agreements• Operation and management of projects• Negotiating power purchase agreements (on both utility and developer side)One of the things I enjoy most about working on deals with my clients is being able to find creative but practical solutions to get deals executed and structuring financings around complex project issues.
