About Neelima Panicker
With a Bachelors in Finance and MBA in Design Thinking & Operations; I stumbled upon ‘PR and Corporate Communication’ as a happy chance and instantly took an interest in exploring this ever-dynamic field. A banker turned entrepreneur turned publicist; I have explored various avenues. I began my career in PR and Corporate Communications at The Walt Disney Studios, India and worked on over 20 projects with some incredible movies including The Jungle Book, Pirates of the Caribbean, Marvel Universe titles, Dangal, Star Wars, amongst others. Post that I have worked in diverse sectors including hospitality, lifestyle, retail, startups, digital media, travel and renewable energy to learn and expand my sector specific knowledge. Over the years I have headed accounts on reputed brands like Bloomberg Quint, SOTC India, Cleanmax Solar, HITCHKI, Bayroute, Love Local (formerly m.Paani), and the likes. In my current role at Current Global, I am leading the teams on Bacardi India (Whisky and Brandy portfolio), and Fossil Group India (including marquee brands like Michael Kors, Emporio Armani, Armani Exchange, Diesel, and Skagen). Previously also led Twitter India - Consumer & Experience Comms mandate. A carnatic music and ghazal lover, ardent India explorer, horror movie connoisseur, and an occasional storyteller at a volunteering agency for kids.
