Package-16,Construction Supervision of Rehabilitation and Upgrading of Group-B Roads at Rajnandgaon & Raipur (Contract Package-08 to 17) In the State of Chhattisgarh Under ADB Loan No-3795-IND;Job Roal and Responsibility- Assist the material engineer and resident engineer in collection of soil samples and material testing.Responsible for execution and supervision all types of lab test for material used in construction of road project. Aggregate tests like gradation, AIV test, crushing strength, Abrasion, soundness, specific gravity and water absorption, Flakiness and Elongation, stripping value etc.Soil test like Atterberg limits, Proctor Test Gradation, CBR, FSI, etc.Bitumen test like Marshall stability, specific Gravity, Penetration, Flash & Fire Point, Softening Point, Ductility, Viscosity, Binder Extraction, Stripping Value test, Flow, Tray Test etc.Preparation of job mix formula for Dense Bituminous Macadam (DBM), Bituminous Concrete (BC) work as most specification.(Marshall stability flow analysis) Responsible for calibration of wet mix plant and hot mix plant Responsibility for implementation of quality control measure for construction of road/CD works, viz. sub soil GSB, WMM Aggregate, cement /Bitumen pavement crusts, etc. Assistance to Material Engineer in reviews for flexible & rigid pavement ingredient layer, Responsible for identification for material sources/supplies for contraction of embankment, sub-grade, sub-base & other structural elements of PSC concreting works, verification of certificates for cement & other additive material like admixtures, grouting agents conform to MORTH/IRS/BIS standards and specification, maintain QC Document and assisting report with illustrated photographs pursuant to contract agreement.
