About Neela Cole

I have always found a passion for meeting new people and engaging in conversations of a variety of everyday topics. As a rising journalist, I intend to continue having these engaging conversations while also sharing them with society through different media outlets. Reporting on soft media in front of a camera is my strong suit, but I also enjoy writing about these appealing topics and working behind the scenes to bring these stories to full view. Working with production equipment and understanding the technological aspect of a broadcast for a sporting event or newscast has also been a new skill that I picked up. Being in control of a broadcast provides a sense of excitement and responsibility that’s different from reporting in front of a camera. Whether working in production or even covering a story for a company or station, I strive to provide the best quality and accuracy to everything that I am assigned to. As I’ve always known, stories and projects do not provide on their own. I plan to work with companies and stations that will teach me how to further my skills in this field as I continue to learn and grow as a journalist, production staff member, and an asset in a teamwork environment.
