I am a data-driven analytics professional with a hybrid background in data science, business intelligence, and project coordination. Currently pursuing a Master’s in Data Science at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC), and a Bachelor’s in Computer Science Engineering from NIT Delhi, I blend academic depth with hands-on industry experience across financial services, public systems, and AI research.At HDFC Bank, I worked as a Business Analyst and IT Project Manager in the Contract Litigation and RBI-ADF teams. I led cross-functional initiatives to streamline regulatory workflows across 50+ branches, enhanced compliance tracking, and owned user acceptance testing (UAT) cycles for internal system upgrades. I built executive dashboards using Power BI and Tableau to track KPIs, monitor exceptions, and support audit-ready reporting. My work directly improved process turnaround times and regulatory alignment.My data science projects span transit analytics, IoT, geospatial crime mapping, and machine learning. I led a Smart Campus Transit Optimization project analyzing over 3.75 million records using Apache Spark and DataBricks to forecast shuttle demand, simulate congestion, and model CO₂ emissions. I developed interactive dashboards showcasing route centrality and performance insights for operational decision-makers.I also built an air quality forecasting system using IoT sensors (PMS5003, MQ-7) combined with LSTM and XGBoost models for real-time prediction. In another project, I mapped violent crime trends in Baltimore using Python, GeoPandas, and spatial clustering.
