As President of the Michigan Warriors Hockey Program (MWHP), I represent the organization’s membership and uphold the best interests of our veteran community. Serving as the official spokesperson, I lead the program’s strategic vision, ensuring alignment with our mission to improve the mental and physical well-being of Disabled Veterans through hockey.Key Responsibilities- Serve as the presiding officer of the MWHP, representing the organization in all official capacities- Support and defend policies, programs, and initiatives adopted by the Board of Directors and membership- Act as an ex-officio member of all committees, providing oversight, guidance, and organizational continuity- Authorize and execute contracts, agreements, and official documents as approved by the Board of Directors- Oversee program operations, including the hiring and management of staff to support organizational goals- Manage fiscal responsibilities, including approval and execution of financial transactions in accordance with Board policies- Ensure clear, consistent communication across the organization, fostering transparency, trust, and growth.Impact:Through dedicated leadership, I work to expand programming, increase community engagement, secure sponsorships, and strengthen the Michigan Warriors as a premier veteran hockey organization in the region.
