About Ned Brown
In 2022, Ned joined Florence as Managing Director and Executive Producer. His eye for talent and relationships in the Advertising and Branding communities helped to grow the business and expand into the expanding areas of media, branding, broadcast, branded content, music videos and social media. He sits on the Advisory Committee of The CDDP (Commercial Director Diversity Program). He also served on the Board of AICP West, which is the trade organization for Production Companies in the Advertising Community. Ned is the former Board Chair, and current Board Member of ArtworxLA.org, which provides year long arts curriculums to 25 alternative high schools in LA County. Ned is on the Board of Governors at the Los Angeles Athletic Club, LA\'s oldest club, dating back to 1880. Ned works as an adoption mentor through Five Acres, bringing his experience, understanding and love of foster/adoption to those going through transition. Ned is a founding board member of the Commercial Directors Diversity Program which fosters awareness and increases directing opportunities for women and minorities in the commercial production industry through a targeted program of outreach, mentorship and exposure. A Minnesota native, Ned moved to Los Angeles from New York City 20 years ago. He lives in the Echo Park neighborhood with his 19 year old son.
