About Necolle MacCherone

Project Director and Certified Floodplain Manager with over two decades of experience supporting federal, state, territorial, and local clients in resilience planning, floodplain and stormwater management, and risk communications. My work spans program management, program & policy development, community engagement, and business development — including support to the Federal Emergency Management Agency, State Cooperating Technical Partners, and municipal water departments. I’ve led national outreach strategies, developed training programs, contributed to award-winning communication products, and facilitated training and symposiums that empower communities to reduce their vulnerability to natural hazards. I\'ve been fortunate to be surrounded by mentors and support throughout my career that has helped me grow. I enjoy paying that forward through active involvement as a mentor to emerging professionals and through volunteer support of several professional non-profit organizations.
