Working in partnership with this leading afforestation and carbon removal project, I developed a learning with mobiles platform for use by subsistence farmers across rural East Africa and India. By investigating the intersection of small group dialogic pedagogy, approaches to mobile learning, and technological affordances this ongoing project is pioneering new ways to overcome challenges in educational equity for rural communities.
