I get excited when I see a formerly struggling reader picking up a book to read for pleasure. I\'m energized when a child who couldn\'t read well gains confidence and starts to raise his hand in the classroom. And I\'m thrilled when a formerly struggling student reaches grade level and doesn\'t need my help any more. Children with reading difficulties have to work hard to overcome them - so I\'m inspired to work hard to help them succeed.
