Employed a variable exhaust system powered by hydraulics to see the effects of different hydrogen and methane fuel ratios on acoustic vibrations in the system in order to minimize acoustic vibrations in a full-scale turbine. Designed and implemented new exhaust tube and combustion manifold components, improving system stability by 20% by using stainless steel and more efficient cooling lines. Used Python and MATLAB to improve the viscosity estimate of the fuel mixture by 10% and streamlined the data pipeline to decrease runtime by 25%.
