About Neal Golovin
My professional experience is in the area of power sources (batteries, fuel cells, and super-capacitors). I am a research chemist with an expertise in electrochemistry, and experience in Analytical Chemistry, Polymer Science, and Materials Science. I have collaborated with workers in this country, Europe, and Japan. I have made numerous presentations in technical conferences and have been an inventor or co-inventor on over 30 U.S. patents.My goal is to lead a research team and help develop young professional researchers in any industrial application of electrochemistry.Specialties: Electrochemical studies on metals and battery/fuel cell materials, Chemical analysis of materials, scientific research

Work with ARPA-E Program Directors to assist in the development and execution of energy storage and battery technology research and development programs. Work directly with Program Directors to offer technical guidance on battery technology enabling ideas for programs to evolve to Funding Opportunity Announcements (FOA). Assist in writing and releasing FOA\'s. Work with ARPA-E staff to evaluate proposals and make funding awards, based on FOA\'s. Work with awarded organizations to execute the funded R&D projects. Work with Program Directors to evaluate performance of funded projects and write and distribute periodic project reports. Collaborate with other Booz Allen Hamilton teams, working with other government agencies, on battery related projects.
