Lead a large multi-faceted department consisting of Product specialists. Remit extends to managing, maintaining and designing viable solutions for >12 million customer accounts. A direct report of the Consumer Finance Managing Director - with overall accountability for the below functions-• Product Management – Day to day management of the Consumer Card (c.11 million accounts) and Loans (c.1.25 million accounts) portfolios including oversight of key regulatory initiatives i.e. Consumer Duty and Persistent Debt. Drive and support change, issue management and associated customer treatments. Product and regulatory management of c.200k live book Payment Protection Insurance policies. Discharge Nominated Payment Officer accountabilities.• Technical Management – Design and delivery of Consumer and Commercial Cards system-based change, providing consultation and management of end-to-end product features i.e. point of sale authorisations, payments and organisations. Provide guidance for any new business concepts, operational process support and incident technical solutions. Subject matter expertise for current and legacy Loans platforms.• Quality Assurance – Proactively monitor Consumer and Commercial card data quality and cleanse appropriately. Deliver residual risk reduction to several CF risks via fortifying the control environment. Establish an Issues Management Centre of Excellence across all Consumer Finance products (Cards, Loans & Motor Finance).• Disclosure Management – Manage and execute change to Cards and Loans product Terms and Conditions, regulatory communications and fulfilment of product collateral (i.e. statements).• Applications Management – Establish an Applications Management Centre of Excellence across all Consumer Finance products. Release Management and associated Test Environments.• Configuration Management – Execution function focused on front and back book pricing change within the cards platform and supporting surround systems.
