About Ne Lwin
I am an electrical engineering student from Milwaukee School of Engineering. I transferred to MSOE from Milwaukee Area Technical College after I got my associate degree to continue pursuing my bachelor\'s degree. I was an electronic engineering student in Mandalay Technological University in Myanmar for two and a half years before I moved to the US. During that time, I also worked as a part-time programmer at MicroMKT, a production company in our country. I had numerous project experience related to circuits and microcontrollers, which came from my job and schools. I am seeking internship opportunities and can contact to my email address: l••••@msoe.edu.To define myself, innovation and learning are two of my personal values which align with the values of an electrical engineer. Starting from a young age, I wonder how circuits work and how these little things can work as a whole system. The first project that I did was a hovercraft, and I did that when I was in a middle school. Also in high school, I built a speaker with LEDs that light up with the beat and loudness of the song. I love doing these because I got a lot of insights from building these projects and I love the moments of epiphany, after I have understood something. Just after the high school, I took Arduino course at NEC (Naypyidaw Engineering Centre) in Mandalay, Myanmar. After this I just made a firm decision that I would be an electrical engineer. That dedication persists today and that is why I am still taking same EE major even after I moved to the US.I did a lot of independent projects outside of school and job throughout my long academic journey. I funded myself for all of the projects and most of them are microcontroller-based projects because at that time I worked as an embedded programmer, and I just did projects with what is the most accessible. As I am an enthusiastic learner, I gained a lot of experience and skills, from the projects as well as from the work. Doing independent projects not only sharpened my analytical skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, but also increased team collaboration and communication skills. Moreover, when I moved to the US, my cross-cultural communication skills also improved.
