Support multiple states with various types of hazardous waste facilities with EHS functions to comply with local, state, and federal permit parameters, regulatory compliance, and corporate policies (DOT, RCRA, EPA, OSHA, NFPA, etc.)Collaborate with all levels of management to do inspections and audits to meet multi-departmental goals, complete incident reviews, and identify areas for continuous improvementActively review, update, and create EHS operational documentation and records (i.e. Job Safety Analysis, Manage Training Matrices, etc.) Review, plan, incorporate, and share EHS metrics and operational objectives to improve site understanding of EHS reasoning and behavioral risks (EHS goals, onboarding, annual training, medical appointments, respiratory fit testing, nearmisses, incident reviews, corrective actions, Safety Committe Meetings, etc.) Review operational external and internal activities to ensure EHS programs and policies are known and followed (PPE, SWA, LOTO, Hot Work Permitting, Confined Space Permitting, etc.)Take lead on regulator agency visits, reporting, and if any, close remediations in a timely mannerActively work with leadership and teams in the plant and field to promote a proactive and behavioral approach to preserving the environment, health, and safety of the communities where we work.
