I have over ten years of experience working in local and state government organizations on disaster recovery initiatives. I have worked extensively with the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) on various issues related to financial management, grants management, infrastructure coordination, matching on FEMA-funded programs, and Community Development Block Grant Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) policy.I\'m currently a seasoned project manager at ICF, having helped multiple states and local governments stand up and implement their CDBG-DR infrastructure, planning, and housing programs – including the City of Ft. Worth, the Texas General Land Office, the State of Iowa, the Commonwealth of Kentucky, and the State of New Jersey. Previously, I was one of the founding members of the City of New York’s CDBG-DR team after Hurricane Sandy. I assisted in creating the City’s local match strategy and spearheading the process for properly accounting costs associated with the disaster.
