ABOUT NATALIEDEANA B.

I am a proud Filipina and a lifelong New Yorker passionate about STEM, arts, advocacy, and, ultimately, finding ways to make people’s lives a little bit easier. With a background in biomedical engineering and currently on a path toward becoming a physician, I strive to integrate my multifaceted interests to forge innovative, interdisciplinary opportunities whilst also effecting positive change in the spaces I inhabit and the community I contribute to.As an engineer and scientist, my academic research and projects leverage human-centered design thinking to improve healthcare processes and create more accessible and equitable health tech products. I am passionate about incorporating art in STEM and am continually pursuing projects that allow creativity to drive innovation. I want to bring back the skills and the multidisciplinary experiences I carry across seas and use my medical, engineering, arts, and systems expertise to uplift medical centers and communities back home in the Philippines as a long term goal following my formal training. Outside of my \"day job,\" I create and sell jewelry through my shop, ShopNiNatalie. I draw inspiration from my cultural heritage and scientific expertise to design one-of-a-kind handmade pieces that people can use to showcase their passions, heritage, and personality. Thanks for stopping by & if you\'d like to chat contact me at n••••••••@gmail.com!
