As the Executive Director of New Solutions Development, I find myself in a global role working with a multi faceted team of professionals tasked with identifying, quantifying and prioritizing the development and delivery of new product solution offerings that align with the firms strategic objectives and direction. In this role I am required to bring to bear my experience and knowledge to think strategically about the opportunities, opportunity costs and risks of taking a stated direction or developing a key capability, assess the risks of not delivering key capability or prioritizing one over another while keeping an eye on new innovations and capability past the immediate horizon to ensure our product roadmap is forward looking and dynamic. This role also requires me to keep one eye on the product needs of the Canadian business and ensure that those needs considered while executing on the larger global role.
