Our work builds bridges between generations and reinforces trust, respect and the social glue of our society. Our cycle pilots take care homes residents, neighbours and relatives out on ‘trishaw’ cycle rides to feel the wind in their hair. We enable people to experience the city and nature close-up from the bicycle, to regain social connection and for people to tell their story in the environment where they have lived their lives. ABOUT NATALIE CHIRCHIETTI
As founder of Cycling Without Age Germany, a nonprofit organisation, dedecated to liveable communities and neighbourhoods, she works locally on the ground to improve the quality of life of hundreds. Natalie looks for solutions, which invite everybody - regardless of age and mobility constraints to create sustainable communities. Her work builds bridges between generations and reinforces trust, respect and the social glue in the society. As speaker at conferences, such as the Global Festival of Action for Sustainable Development or session holder at the 13th Conference of Youth (COY13) she loves to share her insights and to inspire others. Her time abroad and several travels allowed her to gain an international perspective. During her studies she focused on Business Psychology and International Economics. Her thesis on the role of Innovation Hubs taking startups from idea to business was published by the International Centre for Sustainable Development (IZNE).
