In a result focused and insightful career of 30+ years, I have built up expertise in leading and driving IT/IOT related innovations across manufacturing facilities, provided B2B/integration/automation solutions and contributed towards the growth of the organization as a business/market leader in the domain. My entire career experience has been with the metal industry leader, Essar Steel (now AM/NS India Ltd), and over the years, I have set up and scaled the Central Automation team, successfully completed multiple multi-crore rupee innovation projects and substantially increased the organizational productivity and efficiencies while generating cost savings on a continuous basis. My role also involves maintenance of all L2 systems (hardware/software/SCADA) for all 35+ plants, development and maintenance of multiple intranet responsive websites, maintenance of critical gauges, stakeholder/vendor/team management, liaisons with regional/business heads and supervision of purchase of equipment related to communications, security, IT and infrastructure including SCADA and PLC.In addition, I have been fortunate to lead the Central Utilities team with a prime focus on sustenance, automation, fostering ingenious methodologies with 40% reduction in specific water consumption, reduction in chemical costs and water treatment. Have been fortunate to lead a team where a lot of \"first\" were achieved - including setting up a COVID hospital with free oxygen supply within 72 hours.Have ingeniously designed and erected a 500m3/h RO plant which uses the treated effluent water from all the plants. Have been instrumental in designing various Utilities required for AM/NS\'s mega expansion drive in Hazira.Am involved now, to form a complete new team for Central Automation as well as Utilities for the expansion projects in Hazira.Experienced in execution and thought leadership in terms of technology development & delivery in sync with market/industry requirements of various plants/facilities. Conceptualized, innovated and delivered latest technology innovations in keeping with the current market and industry trends. Received recognition from industry bodies and government agencies for some of the creative and effective B2B/integration/automation solutions.I believe in the power of fostering collaboration, empowering performance & driving excellence across business domains for delivering results in a constantly evolving business environment.
