ABOUT NAZIA CHOWDHURY
I am an aspiring professional, working towards a degree in Business Management on the Human Resources track at Baruch College with 3 years of experience in business networking, administration, and human relations. I am mission driven and goal oriented, with a passion for philanthropy and women empowerment. I am an educator with experience in working with the youth through community based organizations and schooling programs, with a specialty in kids aged 6-12. I am currently working as a Traveling Home Care Aide, assisting elderly patients within the community with their daily health and wellness needs. I also work with community leaders in the Bronx to help employ other people of my age demographic for their own recruitment opportunities. I hold the position of Activism and Awareness director in the Philanthropy Committee of Baruch’s Women in Business organization, where I work in community outreach through social media initiatives, collaborative research work on relevant social issues and current events, and administrative organization. As a strong-willed female entrepreneur and a New York native, I am working towards connecting my passions of writing, human relations, and community activism to ensure myself a spot in the evolving professional world of like-minded individuals.
