About Nayana Santana
Completed undergrad December 2025!I am a former Marketing and International Business Fox Honors Student at Temple University. I am currently interning with the Marketing, Communications, & Government Affairs team at Philadelphia Industrial and Development Corporation (PIDC) and within the Navy Yard. In my role, I currently assist with short-form video development (scripting, directing, editing), internal staff highlights, blog write-ups, & social media content creation in the economic development center, specific to the City of Philadelphia.I have previous interning experience in PR and Outreach with Bagels & Co. on campus, where I interacted with students and faculty to promote menu items, the new physical location on campus, and increase engagement online. Previous to this, I worked abroad on the Temple University Rome Campus (TUR) on the Social Media Team, directing, editing, and creating content for Instagram. I have held multiple leadership positions, most notably as the VP and Social Media Specialist for a first-generation student organization within the honors program and secondly as a Project Manager for Temple University’s student-run marketing consulting organization, Cherry Consulting (under TU-AMA). As a student I have well over 500 hours of community service and volunteer experience with Horizons National and AmeriCorps. I previously worked as a student teacher at the Workforce Education and Lifelong Learning (WELL) Center in Philadelphia, where I supported, taught, and tutored adult learners on their journey to acquiring their GED.
