Hi there! I’m Nawshin Haque, a Bridge Hydraulics Engineer at the Nebraska Department of Transportation’s Bridge Division. With a strong background in civil and environmental engineering, I’m passionate about designing efficient and resilient bridges, culverts, highways, and drainage systems. I hold a Master of Science in Environmental Engineering from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, along with a Master’s and Bachelor’s in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Shahjalal University of Science and Technology.My background integrates civil, environmental, and water resources engineering, with experience in hydraulic modeling, bridge design support, and drainage and stormwater management. I am passionate about improving transportation infrastructure through effective drainage, stormwater management and hydraulic design. My expertise lies in analyzing runoff, optimizing drainage systems, and ensuring the hydraulic efficiency of bridges and culverts to enhance safety, resilience, and sustainability across transportation networks.
