I work as Team Leader, Project Mesha, leading a collaborative partnership between Jeevika and AKF with support from the Gates Foundation. Under this initiative, an entrepreneurial cadre of pashu sakhis has been trained, providing livestock services to over 7 lakhs households in Bihar. I also support Mesha Mahila Bakripalak Producer Company, a women goat rearers’ owned FPC that has achieved a turnover of over Rs 3 crore within just two years of its operation. Additionally, I provide strategic leadership to a climate-resilient and agroecological livelihoods pilot with farmers in Muzaffarpur and Khagaria, covering pulses cultivation, SRI, green fodder, and conservation tillage for soil health and emission reduction, along with large-scale tree plantations, water management, micro-forests, biogas promotion, bio-composting, and ration balancing for livestock.
