About Me and My Future:I am a big time dreamer who spends most of the time dreaming about making some aspect of life better, easier or more meaningful. On the professional front, this usually takes shape in the form of my dreams around innovative products or services and making them addictive to customers. I love translating such dreams into compelling concepts and practical designs. I also enjoy the process of prototyping my ideas and validating the perceived benefits. Though I have done it many times in the past, I would like to be out of the race when it comes to managerial roles.Ideas, Concepts, Designs. that\'s where I believe my future is!My Past and Present:It has been an unplanned and exciting journey so far. After my mechanical engineering, I worked in the manufacturing industry for couple of years. Then I took a break and did my masters in business administration and specialized in finance. But after all that, I landed up in IT industry when Oracle hired me. Though it was an unplanned entry into IT industry, it has been a 23 year dream run at Oracle, playing roles ranging from being a product expert to heading a research initiative, from managing people and projects to institutionalizing vision for the organization, from driving business to heading support functions like Knowledge Management, IP Engineering and Business Excellence. And the dream run at Oracle still continues.
