I’m a finance leader with 15+ years of experience, passionate about challenging the status quo and building scalable, future-ready finance functions. I enjoy finding method in the madness—bringing structure, clarity, and rigor to dynamic, fast-paced environments. My fascination with fintech has grown exponentially over the last 7+ years at Razorpay, where I’ve had the privilege of building the finance function from the ground up. During this journey, I’ve built and scaled a high-performing finance team, helping the organization navigate rapid growth and increasing complexity. Throughout my career, I’ve worn multiple hats across Controllership, Business Finance, and FP & A, leading initiatives such as- Establishing financial reporting frameworks & processes (SOPs) for the main and acquired businesses - Creating playbooks for Escrow reconciliations, complex network costing structures - Driving investor reporting, forecasting, and audit processes (statutory & internal)- Leading due diligence and fund-raise deliverables along with their audit rigour - Automating financial workflows and controls - Created line of sight functions for real time reporting through assurance functions covering cost / net revenues for financial governance. Under my leadership, finance has been a strategic partner, working closely with product, banking, legal, PeopleOps and their leads to drive meaningful financial outcomes.
