ABOUT NAVID RESALAT

My area of expertise is broad ranging from designing control systems to machine learning and pattern recognition, statistical modeling, signal/text/language/image processing and to neural engineering and fuzzy logic. I have developed these skills over a span of 15 years resulting in publishing at least 18 papers, licensing two algorithms, and attending several conferences and symposiums including conferences and Diabetes Technology Meetings. I have specifically: 1- Designed dual-hormonal and uni-hormonal predictive controllers for the artificial pancreas. 2- Developed epilepsy detection algorithms using EEG data 3- Developed machine learning algorithms for predictive/classification models 4- Implementation of k-means clustering algorithms for data mining 5- Implementation of Sequential, Mixture Decomposition and Fuzzy clustering algorithms. 6- Implementation of Bayes classifiers and Maximum Likelihood and Entropy estimators Have experience writing codes in the following software packages: A - Python (SciKit/Keras/SciPy), MATLAB, Java, C++, MikroBasic B- Statistics: Stata, SPSS C- Database: SQL (PopSQL), NoSQL(MongoDB) Knowledgeable and familiar with: A- cloud computing environments: Amazon Web Service (AWS) and Google Cloud B- Hadoop (Hive) batch processing techniques and Big data analysis [to be cont.]
