I\'m a Mechanical Engineer who stepped into a greenfield manufacturing setup As a Team Member- Business Excellence at Premier Fine Linens, I\'m part of a team building operational systems from the ground up. That means there\'s no legacy to lean on everything from SOPs to shop-floor culture is being shaped in real time, and I get to be part of that.Day to day, I work on:* Building and sustaining a 5S workplace culture across production areas* Deploying TPM pillars — AM, FI, QM, EHS — to reduce downtime, improve OEE, reduce Hazards & Risk in the Factory* Applying 7 QC tools, 5 Why, and Fishbone analysis to find and fix the root cause of machinery issues* Writing SOPs and hands-on training of new team members on work procedures* Supporting PFMEA, CAPA, and quality audits to keep process variation in checkWhat drives me is the problem-solving loop spotting an inefficiency on the floor, tracing it back to its root, and watching the fix stick.    Developed and implemented SOPs to standardize workflows, improve productivity, and ensure quality compliance. Led the implementation of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and Quality Management System (QMS) to improve equipment reliability and process efficiency. Implementing 6s methodology to optimize operation, reduce waste and boost productivity within the factory. Analysing the manufacturing loss and conducting the study by brainstorming the causes and troubleshooting with the effective lean tools. To sustain the system, periodic audits are conducted in accordance with the action plan. Developing Skill matrix to identify the skill level of employees, focus on the development area to sustain the progress. Actively served as an EHS Committee Member and IMS Audit Coordinator, contributing to HIRA, aspect-impact analysis, safety inspections, incident investigations, and promoting employee EHS awareness.
