Background:I work in the Amazon Payments Products vertical under the Consumer Payments Japan division. Our team is responsible for building and maintaining amazon.co.jp consumer payments- Our team is responsible for managing all Credit Card payment processors- Built a credit card batch processing system that processes 60% of Amazon Japan credit card traffic from the ground up- Service owner of MCB payment I worked on migrating systems from internal AWS to public serverless AWS- Handled scaling of all the credit card payment services for 2023 PBDD and Black Friday sales in Japan- Mentoring 3 SDE 1s- Working as a payment bar raiser. Responsible for doing design/API reviews made to the Global Amazon payments processing platform. I work with the principal and senior engineers to drive the organization-level changes to suit Amazon\'s global payments acceptance scale.
