Group leader of the Financial Institutions Audit practice. I am responsible for managing all aspects of the practice, working with the partners in the group to deliver quality audits to our clients. I am also the Canadian Partner in Charge of Audit Innovation steering our Audit practice\'s journey to change the way we do a traditional audit. I am the lead audit partner on a number of the Firm’s financial institution clients, including significant Financial Services reporting issuers, where I have the overall responsibility for all aspects of the audit. Currently a member of KPMG’s Technical Topic Team for Insurance and designated internally as an audit specialist in financial instruments and hedging matters. My other responsibilities within the Firm have included leading our Toronto office’s recruiting efforts by setting our hiring strategy and having final approval on all hiring decisions for over 120 new CPA students annually. I have also been the business partner responsible for staffing and resource allocations for the entire GTA audit practice (approximately 600 professionals).
