   United Sikh Movement

   As the Operations Director for the United Sikh Movement, I lead and oversee the organization\'s day-to-day operations, strategic planning, and community engagement initiatives. My role involves managing a diverse team, coordinating large-scale events, and ensuring the organization fulfills its mission of empowering the Sikh youth and fostering awareness and unity while maintaining Sikh values. Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement operational strategies to achieve organizational goals- Manage budgets, fundraising campaigns, and donor relations to ensure financial sustainability- Oversee volunteer recruitment, training, and retention to build a strong and motivated team- Plan and execute community service projects, advocacy campaigns, and cultural events- Maintain compliance with nonprofit regulations and manage administrative tasks, including grant writing and reporting- Liaise with community leaders, stakeholders, and external partners to build collaborations.
