Project Overview:Worked on Ofgem’s Market-wide Half-Hourly Settlement (MHHS) initiative, a UK energy sector reform aiming to improve electricity settlement accuracy by utilizing half-hourly consumption data from smart meters. Contributed to end-to-end quality assurance across distributed systems, data pipelines, and regulatory workflows.Key Responsibilities:1. Executed cohort-based SIT cycles across market participants (MSA, MSS, SDS, ADS, Suppliers, Central Parties), validating D-Flow transactions and system integrations.2. Loaded and configured test data provided by the MHHS program into internal systems for each release cycle, ensuring readiness for SIT execution and scenario coverage.3. Executed interface testing using business design documents and ICDs, achieving 100% accuracy across half-hourly settlement flows.4. Verified DIP message routing, retries, and acknowledgments to ensure consistent orchestration across distributed systems.5. Queried large datasets using complex SQL to validate settlement volumes and D-Flow transactions across multi-tier data layers.6. Participated in Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, planning, triage) to maintain alignment across delivery and QA teams.
