Construction of Surgical Specialty Center ( SSC) for HMC, Including Life & Safety Upgradation, Qatar. Value: QR 270 Million. Position: Construction Manager Project. Reports to: Programme Director. Client: Hamad Medical Corporation. As Team Leader Worked with the Directors and Senior Managers in support services and allied health professionals, including directors of projects, health facilities planners to ensure the provision of functionally suitable environments, to best healthcare standards with life cycle value and to overall JCI compliance and performance, in the context of strategic risk and to embed these concepts throughout the project cycle- in a live Hospital. Handled the successful & timely construction completion from scratch to finish including earlier & sequential transition of clinical team and end users and delivery of project to client with continued follow ups with HMC HFD/Engg & Other stake holders on daily basis. Managed attendance to DLP & Project close out docs including DLP commissioning, training and tickets close out. Played vital role in the mitigation on project progress on beating the milestones, strict budget controls and optimum utilization of resources during construction by implementing programmed permit systems for access controls and during Covid-19 Pandemic situations for the benefit for ASTAD & Client. Project scope includes SITC of internal fit-out and finishes, health care graded ACMV, Electrical and ELV systems and also special systems like Medical Gas System, Critical Electrical Systems, Nurse Call system, Bariatric facilities, Isolation and PE rooms, etc, and upgradation of Fire & Life Safety infrastructure network to latest NFPA standards and JCI requirements.
