Lead and manage the Gender Transformative Mechanism/Centre of Excellence (CoE) in Gender Transformative Approaches for Sustainability — a $5.26 million project funded by IFAD and the Gates Foundation to advance gender equality and women’s empowerment through a strategic focus on climate resilience, enterprise development, and women\'s control over resources.Build Centre of Excellence on four strategic pillars – Technical & Advisory Services; Evidence & Knowledge; Advocacy & Policy; and Partnership & promotion.Lead day-to-day program operations, including planning, budgeting, implementation, monitoring, and reporting.Build, lead, and supervise a high-calibre and diverse team of Specialists in Training, Knowledge Management, Policy, IT, and administration.Strategic guidance in designing various thematic training modules, capacity-building programs, delivering trainings, knowledge products, policy review and briefs, and an e-learning platform.Conduct performance reviews of CoE activities and implement data-driven course corrections.Lead and facilitate the planning and implementation of statewide grassroots campaign reaching over women.Develop collaborations. Lead the initiative to strengthen MAVIM’s institutional capacity on gender equality and climate-sensitive approaches. Assess new initiatives and opportunities across different geographies of Maharashtra.Develop Terms of Reference (ToRs) and support the onboarding of consultants and partner organizations.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Climate, Gender, M&E, Research, business development and finance specialists, as well as 34 District Coordination Officers.Lead the transformation of the Centre of Excellence premises into an eco-friendly Green Hub Training Centre by integrating green building principles.Coordinate with MAVIM’s Head Office and the funding partner, the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), for strategic alignment, technical guidance, and reporting.
