As a Responsible Business Coach have spent last 20 plus years in the manufacturing sector working with global retailers, brands, suppliers and multi-stakeholder initiatives mitigate risks in supply chain related to human rights due diligence by improving working conditions and protecting workers\' rights. Have also worked with UN Agencies, Multilateral Agencies and Non-profit organizations.Founder of Innovatus, a consultancy firm, have expertise in advising companies in the apparel, sports goods and footwear sector on labor and social risk areas that cover strategy, research, stakeholder engagement. Provide third party monitoring services including establishing approaches for addressing core labor issues including gender mainstreaming, addressing harassment at workplace and improving workplace dialogue.Have the ability to influence and engage variety of stakeholders including the civil society, labor organizations as well as businesses.A law graduate, having spent most of my professional career committed to improving workplace environment for labor in the manufacturing sector, I have a distinct perspective and implementation experience on the challenges and possible solutions, having initiated several programs and approaches.Initiatives and platforms associated with (both current and former) include Fair Labor Association (FLA), Fair Wear Foundation (FWF), Better Buying (BBI), Social Accountability International (SAI), Alliance for Bangladesh Worker Safety (AFBWS)
