ABOUT MARTIN NAUGHTON

My team and I build mobile apps, cloud platforms, modernize legacy systems, and lead digital transformation efforts to bring companies into Industry 4.0. Over the past 25+ years, I’ve helped deliver complex software projects on tight deadlines for organizations like Intel, Bombardier, Deloitte, and others across multiple sectors including public, manufacturing, logistics, architectural and healthcare. Now I run Galvia Digital, a Belfast-based software company. We build IoT setups, smart apps, and full= platforms for international deployment in both B2B and B2C contexts. We also take on modernizing clunky legacy systems no one else wants to touch. Proof of concepts, team augmentation, full rebuilds and project rescues.Run programmes like Digital Surge, helping local businesses get their heads around AI, IoT and blockchain. I also step in as a Fractional CTO for startups that need senior input but aren’t ready for full-time hires yet. Tech strategy, team structure, roadmap clarity, etc. I help make sure the wheels stay on.Also run IoT Belfast, an industry meetup that\'s been running since 2016, where we get folks together from all backgrounds to talk about connected tech.Co-founded a few more events and tech groups over the years. Conferences, some community groups. All with the same aim: help people learn and connect without the usual fluff.Galvia works with teams who are serious about change.
