ABOUT NAUDIA BANTON

Naudia is a seasoned professional with a robust background in entrepreneurship, talent management, and cross-industry expertise, including publishing, healthcare, insurance, education, manufacturing and technology.With a proven track record of leadership, she played a pivotal role in the development of Waterloo Region’s first Women Entrepreneurs Bootcamp and recently spearheaded the opening of a first of it’s kind entrepreneurship and co working facility focused on advancing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals; the SDG Idea Factory.Currently, Naudia serves as the Manager of the Waterloo Region Small Business Centre, where she supports the growth and development of local businesses, in Kitchener, Cambridge and Waterloo.A passionate advocate for diversity and inclusion, Naudia is committed to advancing economic opportunities for underrepresented minority groups, particularly in the workplace. As a woman of colour and a mother, she actively works to drive systemic change and empower diverse voices in business and leadership.Naudia holds a Master of Technology Management from the Lazaridis School of Business and Economics and a Graduate Certificate in Sustainability Strategies from Stanford University. She is also a respected speaker and has shared her expertise globally.
