Key responsibilities include: • Event Organisation: Planning and executing reunions, business networking events, and other annual events to strengthen alumni relations. • Fundraising: Driving efforts for the Foundation Awards Programme to ensure access to transformative educational opportunities for talented young people. • Donor Stewardship: Managing relationships with major donors and legators through personalised events and engagement strategies. • Career Development Programmes: Collaborating with the Head of Futures to coordinate the Skills for the Future initiative, including: • Futures Fair and Work Experience Day for Sixth Form pupils. • Speed Interview Challenges and Summer Alumni Panel. • AI Weeks and other career-enhancing activities. • Mentorship programmes and sourcing expert speakers in fields such as science and artificial intelligence to inspire and educate pupils.• 21st Century Campus Development: Securing funding to enhance the school’s infrastructure, creating modern, flexible learning environments that support innovative teaching and learning. • Telephone Fundraising Campaign: Coordinating behind-the-scenes aspects of telephone fundraising campaigns in collaboration with external partners to bolster philanthropic support.• Strategic Planning and Income Generation: Contributing to the school’s strategic direction by driving income generation through key individual giving programmes, aligning fundraising initiatives with the school’s long-term goals, and collaborating with senior leadership to ensure development strategies support the school’s mission and vision.In essence, this role is dedicated to fostering meaningful connections, inspiring the next generation, and ensuring the enduring success of Dean Close School through strategic engagement and fundraising endeavours.
