Foundry Local is Microsoft’s on-device, cross platform LLM runner, launched in May 2025, with support for silicon from AMD, Intel, NVIDIA and Qualcomm launched in September 2025.• Doubled release cadence of Foundry Local in the second half of 2025, adding features such as tool calling and agent capabilities. • Championed and led development of the ONNX Runtime GenAI API (adds generative AI capability), from launch in May 2024, until most recently its inclusion in the General Availability of Windows ML.
