ABOUT NATHALIE TESSIER
I began my career in Paris in fashion design before discovering that my true strength lay in understanding how fashion operates as a business.I held executive roles with international brands including Celio, contributing to its expansion into a multinational enterprise. I launched new retail concepts, led branding and operational strategy, and worked across both buyer and production sides of the industry. This experience shaped my understanding of what drives sustainable fashion performance: margin discipline, sourcing intelligence, positioning, and execution.Today, I serve as Program Leader of the Fashion Business program at Istituto Marangoni Miami.My mission is clear: to prepare students for the real economics of luxury and global fashion. Our program integrates luxury strategy, global sourcing, industry experience, and a critical understanding of how emerging technologies, including AI, influence retail and supply chain decisions.Fashion education must move beyond aesthetics. Graduates must understand cost structures, risk management, data interpretation, and long-term brand positioning.Based in Miami, I work at the intersection of luxury strategy, global operations, and industry collaboration, building a program that connects classroom rigor to real career outcomes.
