I am a passionate and experienced product designer and engineer, with a strong focus on sustainability and social responsibility. I have extensive knowledge of environmental, social and governance (ESG) principles and standards, and how to apply them to product design and development. I can conduct life cycle assessment (LCA) of products, from raw materials to end-of-life, and identify opportunities for improvement in terms of environmental impact, resource efficiency and circularity- I am knowledgeable and proficient in sustainable product design methods and tools, such as circular economy, eco-design, biomimicry, cradle-to-cradle, design for disassembly and recycling. I am creative and innovative in developing solutions that meet customer needs and expectations, while minimizing negative environmental and social effects. I have excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams, stakeholders and customers, and to present and justify design decisions based on ESG and LCA criteria, across the whole design process- Creativity, curiosity, attention to detail, and empathic design skills- Creative brainstorming, product sketching, styling and human-centered research- Ability to conduct user research, prototyping, testing, validation, and marketing- Expertise in 3D surface and solid modelling, digital rendering, and 2D graphical presentation- Experienced with numerous 3D printing additive manufacturing and prototyping methodologies- Knowledge of engineering principles, technical drawing, materials, and manufacturing processes- Experience in leading cross-functional teams and collaborating with stakeholders.Throughout my career, I’ve worked on a variety of projects. One of my most notable projects was the development of a new product line for a major electronic monitoring company. I was responsible for leading the team through all stages of the product design process, from concept brainstorming to product prototyping and manufacturing. The project was completed on time and within budget, and the new product line was very successful- I am aware of current trends and challenges in sustainability, such as climate change, biodiversity loss, social inequality, etc, and how they affect product design and engineering. I believe that good design is essential for creating products that are both functional and aesthetically pleasing.I am always eager to learn new skills and explore new possibilities in this exciting and meaningful field.
