Nate Webb’s practice focuses on technology law and commercial transactions for emerging technology, entertainment and media companies. He has over 20 years of experience in dealing with intellectual property licensing, online privacy, product distribution, mergers and acquisitions, strategic alliance, advertising, joint venture, trademark and copyright issues.Following his graduation from the University of Michigan Law School, Nate joined the corporate securities group at Perkins Coie LLP, Seattle’s largest full-service law firm. He co-founded UrbanEarth.com, Inc, an Internet media company focused on urban music and culture (sold UrbanEarth, Nate became the first full-time employee of WhitePages, Inc, which is currently a profitable Internet services company with 130 employees. Between Nate, as Vice President of Corporate Development, oversaw WhitePages’ day-to-day operations, business development and corporate development ventures. Most recently, Nate served as WhitePages’ General Counsel, where he oversaw the company’s entire legal operations.In 2009, Nate formed Focal PLLC with co-founder Venkat Balasubrami. Focal\'s eleven attorneys primarily advise emerging technology, media and entertainment companies on a variety of matters (with an emphasis on intellectual property and privacy).
