ABOUT NATHAN WARREN

Starting my career as a footwear designer, I never realized my power to change an entire supply chain based on the leather I chose, the color that matched, or the buckle with the best \'click.\' But after living in a rapidly developing nation and working at a factory with other people every day, I began to appreciate the environmental and social impacts of rapid product design and development.Having seen the system firsthand, I made an effort to switch careers, eventually earning a graduate degree in sustainability, focusing on corporate strategy and disclosures. Product design and sustainability will always be near and dear, but in my new career path, I\'ve been able to leverage my project management, client relationships, communication, and graphic design skills, to help companies create effective sustainability strategies.My focus now lies on company performance through sustainability reporting, ESG disclosures, rater and ranker responses (e.g, S&P CSA), and regulatory compliance (e.g, IFRS, CSRD, SB253, and SB261). I\'m passionate about setting SMART targets, measuring performance, and, ultimately, improving transparency for companies. I believe transparency helps drive sustainability, whether it\'s product circularity or setting net-zero targets, and creates positive impacts for everyone.
