As a scheduling coordinator, I am responsible for the following- Ensuring timely coordination of outbound and inbound loads-Making strategic changes to schedules to meet shipment times in the offshift-Effectively communicating with carriers and customers to ensure all conflicts are resolved and tasks clearly outlined-Proficiently setting up expedites in the case where there is a material shortage at the customer-Maintaining rack floats in SMART to ensure we are sufficiently covered on all supplier managed inventories-Monitoring customer systems to skillfully ensure that they have sufficient part coverage-Intermediate use of excel to complete all functions of the job where applicable.
