I\'m a Senior Software Engineer with a focus on backend systems, data engineering, and cloud-native infrastructure in the healthcare technology space. At DexCare — a patient navigation platform helping health systems route millions of patients to the right care — I architect and build the data pipelines and search infrastructure that power how clinicians, departments, and locations are discovered at scale.I\'m currently leading the design and development of a greenfield AWS-native search and data pipeline platform, migrating a multi-tenant system off Azure and rebuilding it from the ground up using Step Functions, Lambda, OpenSearch, and Python. The system is being built to handle millions of requests and gigabytes of data across 10+ large national health systems, with a production deployment on track for spring 2026.Outside of work, I\'m pursuing a Master of Science in Computer Science with an AI/ML focus at WGU, and building an automated baseball analytics app that uses Python, AWS, and AI to generate daily data-driven insights — a project that\'s sharpened my skills in prompt engineering, AI integration, and working with the Claude API.I\'m passionate about using AI tooling (including Claude Code) to meaningfully accelerate engineering velocity, and I\'m always looking for ways to apply machine learning and data engineering to solve real-world problems.
